Approach

At Morale Mindset, our approach to coaching executives and improving teams follows our values of having a morale mindset, being solution-oriented, and driving towards continuous improvement. With a morale mindset, the first step is always to understand and learn the context around your people problems. After understanding, we can begin to share our thoughts based on a combination of management experience and psychology studies, which serve as a starting point, but not the final destination. Upon settling on a few tactical solutions, the next step is to test them. We know that each situation may require a slightly different approach. Therefore, after testing the tactical solutions, we revisit what we have learned and start the process over so that we can continuously improve.

Learn Context

Our goal at Morale Mindset is to understanding your most pressing objectives and concerns around people dynamics, so that we can help develop tailored solutions for each one. We start by actively listening in order to learn your goals for your business and/or for yourself. Next, we can jointly dive into the problems you are facing in your goals.

What this looks like: The coachee should come ready to discuss problems that they are facing. We will ask open ended questions about your goals and problems. Where appropriate, we will probe deeper so that we have the appropriate level of context to fully understand your situation.

Share Thoughts

At Morale Mindset, our goal is not to tell you how to solve your problems. Our goal is to walk you through the thought processes, the underlying psychology, and the overarching management principles, so that we can develop a tailored plan together. We are always thinking about tactical solutions that can be implemented, but we know that you know your business and your team members better than us. Therefore, we will work together to find the solutions with the highest potential for success.

What this looks like: We will ask questions such that coachee will be able to come up with potential solutions. If the coachee believes that these solutions will work with their team, we will proceed to testing. However, if the coachee do not believe the solutions are effective, we will discuss what problems are foreseen and then continue to refine the solution until we find an approach that we both believe will be effective.

Test Tactics

Our goal is to always arrive at optimal actionable initiatives, however, we know that solutions need to evolve over time. Upon finding a potential path forward, we will set you off to test the tactical solutions, along with key factors to pay attention to while testing. After sufficient time to test, we will circle back to learn the context once again, refine our adaptable solutions, and start our process of continuous improvement

What this looks like: The coachee will have a new toolkit to solve problems alongside their team. After two to four weeks, we will meet again and discuss what tactics were effective, what tactics were ineffective, and what we learned through the process. These cycles can continue as long as desired or necessary to obtain a problem solving Morale Mindset.
